Customers may request returns for most items purchased from Jyoti Hardware and Steel Merchant (jyotihardwares.com) within the applicable return window. However, products explicitly marked as “not returnable” on the product detail page are not eligible for return.

Products marked as “returnable” are eligible for return or replacement under the conditions specified on the product page and this policy. If the return request is approved, we will provide a replacement within a reasonable timeframe or as mutually agreed upon.

Refund amounts may be adjusted to account for applicable shipping costs, fees, or other agreed-upon terms. All returns are subject to the product page details and this section of the User Agreement.

Products not eligible for return may still be exchangeable if mentioned on the product page. If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect product, you will be eligible for an exchange as detailed on the product page.

If a product is delivered with a free item and you return the main product, you must return the free item as well. For bundled products, all items within the bundle must be returned to process a refund.

If you return an extra or different product by mistake, Jyoti Hardware will not be responsible for its misplacement or its return.

Jyoti Hardware serves solely as the facilitator for transactions and does not assume liability for disputes related to returns, refunds, or exchanges between you and any supplier or brand.

You may be eligible for a return or exchange in the following cases, provided you share the required proof (such as a job-sheet or photos) as requested:

• The product is used, altered, or defective.
• The product is physically damaged or damaged during transit.
• The branded product was received with the seal opened.
• The package is empty, or some items/accessories are missing.
• The wrong product was delivered.

Jyoti Hardware reserves the right to cancel any order at its discretion. In such cases, you will be notified via email/SMS, and any amount paid will be refunded if the product cannot be provided. Jyoti Hardware may also cancel orders if the quantity exceeds typical individual consumption, determined at our discretion.

Refunds, if applicable, will be processed at the sole discretion of Jyoti Hardware after reviewing the nature of the product, the reason for the refund request, and applicable guidelines. Refunds are conditional and subject to recourse in case of misuse.

Jyoti Hardware may approve a refund fully or partially, based on its assessment, which may include reviewing the details and supporting documentation provided. The decision of Jyoti Hardware on refund requests will be final and binding, and customers agree to accept this decision.

Once approved, refunds will be processed within a reasonable timeframe, using the same payment method used for the original purchase unless otherwise agreed.
